KJCCC Women's Basketball Players of the Week, Week 10, 2015-16

In Seward's only game of the week Saturday against Cloud County, freshman Joanna Grymek came up huge, scoring 22 points and pulling down a career high 16 rebounds in a key Jayhawk Conference victory over the T-Birds.       

Freshman Szonja Vukov had her 10 and 11^th double double of the season as the #7 Highland Scotties began region and league play this past week. In a match-up of 2 nationally ranked teams Vukov was one assist away from a triple double against the #6 ranked Kansas City Community College Blue Devils. Szonja had 22 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists along with 7 steals and 1 block as the Scotties won their Conference/Region opener 82-71. She also had her 11^th double-double on the road in the Scotties win over  Labette Community College with 12 points and 11 rebounds, as well as 5 assists, 6 steals and 3 blocks to help the  #7Scotties go 2-0 in the KJCCC and Region VI.
