Alanya Hannigan wasn't tested often, but she was sharp when she needed to be in helping the Cloud County T-Birds pull off back-to-back shutouts over No. 16 ranked Butler and Coffeyville en route to winning the Region VI championship and punching their ticket to their first national tournament appearance.

Joana Villanova scored two goals, giving her 15 on the season, and provided an assist in Cloud County's 3-0 upset win over No. 16 ranked Butler in the Region VI semi-finals. The T-Birds rode that momentum into Friday's finals against Coffeyville, earning a 2-0 victory to win the program's second Region VI title and punch their ticket to their first national tournament appearance.
