Butler Runs at Friends’ Spring Open
Grizzlies Continue to Improve in Outdoor Season
WICHITA, Kan. – With weather impacting the region during the week, Butler track and field's schedule was altered at Friends University's Spring Open.
Butler ran on Wednesday and Friday in Wichita in their third outdoor meet action of the season.
Bhekizulu Khumalo won the 1500m with a time of 4:03.35.
Itumeleng Ngxabazi came in second in the 800m running 1:52.29.
In the women's 3000m steeplechase, Alexa Marshall (12:35.77) and Valyrie Freeman (12:39.96) finished second and third respectively.
The Grizzlies return to the track on Friday as they travel to Wichita State's KT Woodman Classic.
