Broncbusters double up Lamar on the road

Lamar, CO-After scoring just one goal over their previous four matches, Garden City finally found some offense on Wednesday. 

Kassandra Jimenez scored twice, Thania Flores had two assists, and Garden City beat Lamar, 4-2. The Broncbusters improved to 6-6-3 overall.  

Garden City got on the board in the 16^th minute when Yasmim Fialho played a beautiful cross into the box for Andrea Aguilar who rolled the ball in for a 1-0 advantage. Eight minutes later, Jessica Newton dribbled through three players before dropping a pass to Jimenez, who blasted one home from 10 yards out. 

After Lamar broke through 10 minutes into the second half, Flores drove down the line; then played a dangerous cross into the box where Jimenez ran underneath and pushed it past the keeper for a 3-1 lead.  

Once the lopes made it a one-goal contest, Samantha Medina added some insurance in the 67^th minute. 

The Broncbusters outshot Lamar, 28-3. Leydaly Enriquez had two saves.
