Lazaro Crespo Places 2nd at Bob Smith Open

Hays, KS— Fort Hays Tech Northwest Men's Wrestling competed Friday against No. 5 ranked (NCAA Division II) Nebraska-Kearney, losing the dual 13-34. Tech then traveled to Hays, KS, to compete in the Bob Smith Open, coming away with two placers.

"What a grind of wrestling this weekend," commented Head Coach Chris Guillot. "First, a war of a duel vs. Kearney. Then to the Bob Smith Open at Fort Hays State. We wrestled at least half our matches against D1-level guys all day, winning some and getting spanked in some, but what growth to learn the battle."
