The Central Community College women's basketball team played in the Southeastern Community College Holiday Classic. A recap of each game is below. The Raiders are 0-14 on the season and will take on the York University JV on Wednesday at 3:45 p.m.
Game 1: Highland (Kan.) Community College 86 CCC 60
The Scotties built a 53-26 halftime lead and cruised to a 26-point victory.
Alyssa Reardon led CCC in scoring with 17 points, which included 10 points at the free throw line. Aubry Saleapaga scored 14 points and Nikie Nelson tallied a double-double comprised of 11 points and 16 rebounds.
Game 2: Allen County (Kan.) Community College 78 CCC 60
The Red Devils scored 30 points in the third quarter en route to an 18-point win. Allen County led at the half, 34-23.
Four CCC players finished in double figures with Nelson atop the leader board with 19 points. Desiray Ray scored a dozen while Makenna Pelster and Reardon each scored 10 points.
