Dallas, TX-The Broncbusters completed a successful road trip on Saturday.
Cristobal Sanchez broke a scoreless tie in the 17th minute, and Garden City never trailed in a 3-1 victory over Dallas College Cedar Valley. The Broncbusters improved to 4-1-1 overall.
Sanchez's penalty kick was the lone goal in the first half for either side. But two minutes into the second period is when Garden City struck off a corner kick. Max Hancock got a few inches of space and rocketed a shot past the keeper for a 2-0 advantage.
Cedar Valley got on the board in the 59th minute before Garden City put the match out of reach when Jorge De La Vibora intercepted a pass going back to goalkeeper Angel Rogers and then walked the ball into the net for an easy goal and a 3-1 lead.
Garden City out shot Cedar Valley 15-11. Charlie Prtenjaca had seven saves.
