Monroe closes out season with win over Butler, 5-4

Evans, GA.- The Monroe Community College women's soccer team closed out their 2022 season and national tournament run on Tuesday with a win over the Butler Community College Grizzlies. The Tribunes faced the Grizzlies their first game of the season and fell to them 3-0, their only loss of the season. This time around was different and five different Tribunes scored giving Monroe the 5-4 win over Butler.

Game Highlights:

Caitlin Nelson, Niyah Jayde Rosado, Anna Duetscher, Laia Ferran and Sierra Edwards all scored goals for MCC.

The Tribunes had 25 shots on the day.

Monroe closes out their season 13-2-2.
