Tigers Compete at Jo Meaker Classic
On Friday, Fort Hays Tech Northwest Track & Field traveled to Canyon, Texas, to compete in the Jo Meaker Classic & Multi, with five athletes competing.
Sprints & Field Events:
In the women's 200m dash, Mikela Coombs competed, finishing 28th with a time of 25.16 seconds.
In the 400m hurdles, Noah Mitchell competed, placing 14th with a time of 56.75 seconds.
Middle & Long Distance:
In the 800m run, Maciej Bachaj finished 21st, with a time of 2:01.31.
In the 1500m run, Lucky Maila placed 4th, with a time of 4:06.53.
In the women's 1500m run, Celestine Kiborus placed 6th, with a time of 5:22.02.
Track & Field will return to competition on Thursday at the Kansas Relays in Lawrence, Kansas.
