The Kansas City Kansas Community College men's soccer team (3-0-2) took down the Barton Community College Cougars (5-2), 2-1 Sep. 11 at the Kansas City Kansas Community College Soccer Field. With the win, that is back-to-back years the Blue Devils have upset the Cougars in the regular season when they were ranked higher than No.10 in the country.

Aaron Jackson netted his first goal of the season in the 36^th minute to equalize the game with an assist from Zach Lattimer. David Mayamona scored his fourth goal of the season with a penalty kick in the 53^rd minute. Pierre-Jean Dannenmuller let in his first goal of the season in the 27^th minute but managed to save five of the six shots on target.

The next game for the Blue Devils men's soccer team is against No.4 Cowley Community College at 7:30 p.m. Sep. 21 at Kansas City Kansas Community College.
