The Coffeyville Community College Women's basketball team traveled to Concordia Kansas and lost to the Cloud County Thunderbirds 47-70.
It was the second straight loss on the season for the Red Ravens which now puts their overall record at an even 4-4 and 3-2 in KJCCC conference play.
A slow start for the Red Ravens combined with team wide poor shooting doomed the Red Ravens to the loss. The Red Ravens dug an early hole being outscored 9-21 in the first quarter and for the game the Red Ravens shot 26% (16-61) from the field which included 2 for 17 (11%) from the three point line.
Red Raven freshmen Sky Jasper led the Red Ravens with nearly a double double on 11 points and 9 rebounds.
Coffeyville will return home for a game in Nellis Hall on Wednesday, November 30 against the Pratt Community College Beavers. Tip off is set for 5:30 pm.
