Reid leads trio of Barton men’s cross country at Ollie Isom Invitational.

The Barton Community College men's cross country team got a preview of the Region VI Championship meet course Friday, competing at the annual Ollie Isom Invitational in El Dorado, Kansas.
Tyrese Reid led a trio of first year Cougar competitors with a 9th place finish, crossing the 8k Legions Disc Golf Course in 27:17.66.
Barton's next entry in the fifty-four man field was Kimar Farquharson in 45th at 30:25.36 with Ethan Woodrome, who made a late charge on Farquharson settled for 48th in 30:55.27.
The Cougar men along with their women counterparts will take the next two months training in preparation of a return to El Dorado on November 14 for the Region VI Championships.
