Volleyball: Raiders Reverse Sweep Thunderbirds

The Central Community College volleyball team defeated Cloud County Community College, 3-2, on Wednesday night.
The Raiders started out with two heartbreaker losses in the first two sets, 21-25 and 22-25. The third set saw CCC win comfortably, 25-16, to log its first win. In the fourth set, Cloud County fought hard, but was no match for the Raiders as they won, 25-22, forcing a fifth game. The Raiders were able to complete the reverse sweep with a 16-14, taking the match, 3-2.
Maleigha Johnson leaded the team in digs with with 33. Marin Reilly had 17 kills and Lauryn Scott posted 16. Libbie Ball accounted for 46 assists.
The Raiders are 17-15 on the season and host North Platte Community College in the Region 9 Championship on Saturday.
