LADY BLUE DEVILS IMPROVE TO 27-2

The Lady Blue Devils wasted no time on Saturday in jumping out against conference opponent Allen County in an 88-50 victory.  The win improved the #4 Nationally ranked Blue Devils to 27-2 on the season.  "It was a fun game to watch," said Head Coach Valerie Stambersky.  "With one game left in the regular season it was nice to see us continue to make adjustments and execute our game plan." 

The Blue Devils were led in scoring by Cheyenne North who had 18 points and also grabbed 9 rebounds.  Freshman sharp shooter, Sierra Roberts, had 13 points and 7 boards while connecting on 3-6 from the 3 point line.  Cassidy Harbert had 10 points, 5 boards and 4 assists on the night.  Cierra Gaines added a career high 7 assists to go along with her 6 points while Iland Shurn had 9 points and 9 boards.  Julia Garrard also had a solid performance with 8 points and 7 rebounds. 

The Blue Devils are back in action on Wednesday at 5:00 where they will face off against conference and region rival, Johnson County at home.
