Men's Basketball fell to Garden City CC on Saturday, 52-75. The first half was back-and-forth, with Tech getting out to an 8-point lead about halfway through. The score at the half would have Garden up, 31-26.
In the Second half, Garden almost immediately extended their lead and continued to extend their lead out to 25 points. Tech would only be able to get within 23 points to end the game. Much of the difference in the game came down to Garden making more of their shots throughout the game, particularly at the 3-point line, where they shot 14-32.
The Mavericks next game will be at home against Seward County CC on Thursday.
