The Kansas City Kansas Community College men's soccer team took down the Barton Community College Cougars, 1-0 Oct. 12 at the Barton Community College soccer field. Aaron Jackson has scored two goals this season for the Blue Devils, both coming against the Cougars.

Jackson's lone goal came just 50 seconds into the second half and Payson Hoffstatter recorded the assist. The Blue Devils outshot the Cougars 17 to 10 and seven to four with shots on target and Pierre-Jean Dannenmuller was able to save all four shots on net that the Cougars had. The big win solidifies second place in the KJCCC as the Cougars (5-4) have 15 points and the Blue Devils (5-2-3) have 18.

The next game for the Blue Devils men's soccer team is against No.7 Cowley Community College at 7 p.m. Oct. 23 at the Cowley Soccer Complex in Arkansas, City.
