Beavers Ready for Third Straight Appearance in NJCAA Region Six Tournament

Pratt, Kan. - The Pratt Community College (PCC) softball team will make their third straight appearance in the 2025 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 6 D1 Softball Tournament hosted in Dodge City, Kan. at Legends Park. The Beaver finished 12-36 overall and 8-24 in conference play the most conference wins under head softball coach Joely Rogers.  

The Beavers received the eighth seed will open their tournament against the No. one seeded Butler Community College (BCC) Grizzlies at 12:00 pm on Friday, May 2. The Beavers were swept in both two-game series against Butler this season. With a win or a loss Pratt will either play the No. four seed Garden City Community College (GCCC) Broncbusters or the Conquistadores of Dodge City Community College (DCCC) at the fifth seed. The Beavers took one game from Garden City on the season while Dodge City swept both two game series. The second game will take place at 4:00 pm.  

With a win in the second game the team would advance to day two of the tournament on Saturday, May 3 and would play either Barton Community College (BCC), Colby Community College (CCC), Hutchinson Community College (HCC), or Seward County Community College (SCCC). The game time would be 12:00 pm.
