Beaver Baseball Ends Season with Series Loss Against Hutchinson

Pratt, Kan. - The Pratt Community College (PCC) baseball team ended their season this past weekend, May 1 and 3 with a four-game series against the Blue Dragons of Hutchinson Community College (HCC). The Beavers lost the series 3-1 with their only win coming in game two 3-2 in Hutchinson, Kan.  

The Beavers finish their 2025 season with an overall record of 13-41 and a conference record of 6-26. Pratt will miss the opening round of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region Six tournament for only the second time in head coach Todd Reller tenure.  

Sophomore Quinn Johnson led the team this season with a .388 batting average with 66 hits, 39 RBIs, and 9 homeruns. Freshman Landon Cochran finished the year with 10 homeruns, the most on the Beaver squad. In seven starts and 13 appearances, Oswaldo Wilson finished the year with a 7.55 ERA and 32 strikeouts. Sophomore Ethan Froud lead the pitching staff with 51 strikeouts.
