The Central Community College men's soccer team lost to Garden City (Kan.) Community College, 5-1, at Raider Field on Saturday.
The Broncbusters scored their first two goals in the 29th and 32nd minutes of the first half before scoring two minutes before halftime for a 3-0 lead at the break. Garden City did not score its final two goals until late in the game to complete the 5-0 final.
"This game was a good test of our mental capacity to fight against adversity and I think we did not perform to the best of our ability," said CCC head coach Luis Pulido. "It was a good opportunity for the guys to see where they stand, and this game was a good eye-opener for a lot of them."
With the loss, CCC is 1-3 on the season.
Up next, the Raiders will meet York College JV in York on Wednesday. Game time is set for 4 p.m.
