Beaver Softball Ends Season in NJCAA Region Six Tournament

Pratt, Kan. - The Pratt Community College (PCC) softball team wrapped up their 2025 season at the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region Six Tournament on Friday, May 2. The team opened the tournament against the first seed Butler Community College (BCC) Grizzlies and lost 14-2 in five innings. The team then faced Dodge City Community College (DCCC) and lost 14-4 in five innings to be knocked out of the tournament.  

The Beavers finished 12-38 overall and 8-24 in conference play. They defeated Seward County Community College (SCCC), Colby Community College (CCC), Fort Hays Tech Northwest, (FHTNW) and Garden City Community College (GCCC) in conference play. Sophomore Jaxin Louge lead the team with a .404 batting average, 44 hits, 22 RBIs and 3 homeruns. On the mound, Karis Stewart finished the year with an 8.13 ERA in 84.1 innings pitched with 37 strikeouts.
