 Peyton Johnson drove in 4 runs with 2 doubles and a homerun to lead the Eagles past #18 Johnson County in game 1 of the Kansas City triangular.   Shannon Finn, Kiya Johnson, and Kinsley Theobald also had multiple hits to pace the Eagles.  Peyton Paulsen earned the win in the circle, scattering 4 hits while striking out 3.

Kirkwood 19, Bryant & Stratton 4 (5 Inn)

Peyton Johnson stayed hot in game 2 for the Eagles, going 3-3 with a home run while driving in 4 as the Eagles picked up their second win of the day.   Sophia Kreutner, Kiya Johnson, Jessa DeMoss, and Reese Stockman all added multiple hits.   Mischa Reiners, Savannah Caves, DeMoss, and Kreutner also added home runs for the Eagles.  Natalie Vitek improved to 5-3 in the circle, earning the win.

McCook 10, Kirkwood 9

The Eagles couldn't hold on to a late lead as McCook edged Kirkwood 10-9 in the first game in Kansas City.  Reese Stockman and Mischa Reiners paced the offense by homering, and Shannon Finn added two hits and an RBI in the loss

Kirkwood 8, Kansas City 0 (5 Inn)

Peyton Paulsen threw a 5-inning shutout as the Eagles bounced back against #23 Kansas City, winning 8-0 in a run rule.   Peyton Johnson and Sophia Kreutner each doubled to pace the offense.

The Eagles finish in Kansas City today when they meet Bryant & Stratton and Kansas City.
