Broncbusters allow a goal late; tie Coffeyville, 1-1

Garden City, KS-Never has a tie felt like such a heart breaker. 

The Broncbusters led for more than 40 minutes on Wednesday night before Ana Matos scored the equalizer in the 85th minute as Garden City and Coffeyville finished in a 1-1 draw.  

The Broncbusters are now 3-5-1 overall and 0-5-1 in conference play.  

Corey Bryant's team took the lead right before the half when Ariel Martinez blasted a shot past a diving Rosa Forero Calabuig. 

But after holding the lead for most of the second half, the Red Ravens took advantage of a defensive overplay when Garden City keeper, Leydaly Enriquez sprinted to the top of the box to stop a Coffeyville attack. But there was nobody behind her so when Matos slipped the ball past the goalie, it easily landed in the back of the net. 

Each team had 10 shots, and Enriquez posted six saves.
