KJCCC Baseball East Division Players of the Week - Week 13
COLBY, Kan. – A 20-RBI week for Neosho County’s Maverick Williamson and two pitching victories for Johnson County’s Denton Biller have led to Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Baseball East Division Player of the Week honors for week 13 of the 2025 season.
Maverick Williamson – Neosho County’s (KJCCC Baseball East Division Player of the Week)
Williamson had a monster week, going 10-for-22 at the plate with seven extra-base hits which included six home runs and 20 RBI for Neosho County. The freshman had a home run in five of six games last week, including a two-home-run game against Fort Scott while driving in at least two runs in each of the six games. This season, Williamson ranks fourth in the NJCAA in home runs (21), ninth in RBI (72), and 10th in slugging percentage (.835).
Denton Biller – Johnson County (KJCCC Baseball East Division Pitcher of the Week)
Johnson County pitcher Denton Biller picked up two victories last week to run his season record to 9-0. The freshman logged the first two innings in a 23-0 blowout over Baker, allowing one hit with four strikeouts. Biller capped the week by allowing four hits across six shutout innings with five strikeouts in a 12-2 win at Coffeyville.
