COLBY, Kan. – Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Baseball West Division series victories for Seward County Community College and Hutchinson Community College last week were led by this week’s KJCCC Baseball West Division Players of the Week Hayden Ramage and Lachlan Rosser.  

MD Conner – Dodge City (KJCCC Baseball West Division Player of the Week)
Dodge City capped the regular season by going 4-1 last week, including winning three of four games against Seward County. The series packed plenty of offense for the Conquistadors with MD Conner helping lead the charge for the Conquistadors as he hit .667 for the week. Conner recorded 10 hits with six doubles, scored eight runs, drove in eight while also drawing two walks, and was hit by four pitches to be on base regularly during the week. Against McCook, Conner was three-for-four with two runs scored, an RBI, and two doubles, while his top game against Seward County was game three when he went three-for-three with three runs scored, five RBI, and two doubles.

Will David – Dodge City (KJCCC Baseball West Division Pitcher of the Week)
Dodge City capped the regular season taking three of four against Seward County and Will David helped set the tone in game one as he earned the five-inning complete-game shutout win. The sophomore allowed just two base runners in the game as part of a one-hit shutout on the mound while striking out three to stymie the bats of Seward County in a 10-0 win for the Conquistadors.
