Community College Forlando Johnson Linebacker 5'11" 210 Sophomore Atlanta, GA Forlando Johnson, playing in his first game back after preseason injury, led the Grizzlies to a shutout of arch-rival Garden City. He recorded nine tackles (eight solo), including a tackle for loss, and also recovered a fumble that led to a Butler touchdown. |

College Chip Hester Linebacker 5'11" 228 Freshman Myrtle Beach, SC Chip Hester led a dominating defensive effort for Hutchinson against the Scotties. Hester had 10 total tackles (1 solo, 9 assists). He also had a pass broken up. The redshirt-freshman’s efforts helped the Blue Dragons limit Highland to just nine net rushing yards and 133 yards of total offense. Highland snapped just three plays in Hutchinson territory. |
