Alford Hutchinson Community College Quarterback 6'2" 198 Sophomore Bennettesville, SC Sophomore quarterback Elliott Alford tied his one single-game touchdown pass record and broke the Blue Dragons’ career TD pass mark with an exceptional performance against Garden City on Saturday night. Alford completed 20 of 30 passes for 296 yards and six touchdowns. He tied his own record that he set against Highland earlier this season and broke Robert Coates’ career mark of 32. Alford now has 35 touchdown passes. Alford also moves into second place on the career passing and total yardage list. Alford has 25 touchdown passes and only one interception while completing 67 percent of his passes 1,643 yards. |

Whitmer Butler Community College Quarterback 6'2" 190 Sophomore Downers Grove, IL Chandler Whitmer had season bests both in passing and rushing yardage for the Butler Grizzlies as he led the Butler offense to 41 points against the No. 12 team in the nation. Whitmer completed 24 of 33 pass attempts for 379 yards and three touchdowns. He also was Butler’s leading rusher with six carries for 53 yards and another touchdown. Whitmer’s three TD passes tied a season high. |
