Freshman Kody Cook averaged 43.0 yards per punt on three punts against Garden City, downing two inside the 20-yard line. Cook averaged 43.0 yards net as well. But Cook’s biggest special teams play came in the second quarter when he blocked a Broncbuster punt. That play occurred with HCC leading 16-12. The Blue Dragons scored on the next play after Cook’s block and went on to score 38 unanswered points afterward.
