COLBY, Kan. – Dodge City Community College midfielder Hamza Bennadi along with Seward County Community College goalkeeper Bruno Mestres are your week seven Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division 1 Men’s Soccer Players of the Week.

Hamza Bennadi (Dodge City) – Dodge City picked up a convincing non-conference win over Trinidad State, along with a tie against KCK on the road, and battled top-ranked Indian Hills. In the 7-2 win over Trinidad State, the Conquistadors got a hat trick from Hamza Bennadi getting the first DC3 goal on a penalty kick before adding two more from his feet in the second half.

Bruno Mestres (Seward County) – Mestres in the Saints' only game of the week helped Seward County earn a 2-2 draw with the number four ranked team in the NJCAA (Cowley). The sophomore goalkeeper held the Tigers to only one goal through 80:00 minutes on the field before leaving the field for the final ten minutes. In total, Mestres recorded 7 saves on the afternoon to help the Saints push ahead 2-1 before Cowley scored their final goal to tie the game with Mestres off the field.
