COLBY, Kan. – Along with first-time winner Tyler Beckford of Hesston, Neosho County’s Grant Thackray has earned a second-straight Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division 2 Men’s Soccer Player of the Week honors for week eight of the 2024 season.  

Tyler Beckford (Hesston) – Beckford was one of two Larks to record a hat trick in the 6-6 draw with Pratt last week. Beckford recorded a rare perfect hat trick scoring a goal with both of his feet and one with his head. The three-goal performance put Beckford at nine goals for the season.

Grant Thackray (Neosho County) – Grant played in Neosho County's lone match last week where he faced 13 shots and made 13 saves against Central Community College. Grant was a vital part of the 1-0 win in Region 6/9 play against the Raiders and leads the KJCCC Division 2 Men's Soccer in save percentage with a 0.821 save percentage.
