COLBY, Kan. – Following a fourth-straight NJCAA Division 1 Men's Soccer Plains District Tournament title, the Cowley College men's soccer team has earned the number four overall seed in the upcoming NJCAA Division 1 Men's Soccer National Tournament which will take place at Scheels Stryker Sports Complex in Wichita, Kansas.  

Unbeaten in each of their last nine matches which includes three postseason games, the Tigers enter the NJCAA Division 1 Men's Soccer National Tournament with a 14-1-3 overall record and are one of seven teams in the tournament out of 12 that have one or fewer defeats entering the National Tournament. Cowley's lone loss this season is to the seven seed in the tournament, Indian Hills Community College as the Warriors earned one of the four at-large berths to continue their season with a 14-2-2 overall record. Cowley entered postseason play ranked number five in the final NJCAA Division 1 Men's Soccer poll released on October 28, 2024, and is paired in pool "D" with number five seed Arizona Western Community College who  was ranked number six in the final NJCAA Division 1 Men's Soccer poll and number nine seed Miami Dade College Community College who entered the postseason ranked eighth and also earned an at-large bid into the tournament with a 13-3-2 overall record.

Pool "D" action is set to begin on Sunday, November 17th with Cowley taking on ninth-seeded Miami Dade College in the final game of day one at 5:30 PM (CST) before enjoying an off day as Miami Dade and Arizona Western will face off on Monday, November 18th. The Tigers will then conclude pool play action in the final game of 12 pool play games at 5:30 PM (CST) on Tuesday evening against Arizona Western College as the top team from each of the four pools will advance to the National Semifinals against one of the other three pool winners.

All games of the 2024 NJCAA Division 1 Men's Soccer National Tournament excluding the National Championship match will be streamed live on the NJCAA Network (link below) with the National Championship match scheduled to be streamed live on ESPN+.
