Freshman forward Danielle Sheehy continued her tremendous start to the season, scoring eight goals in three games last week for No. 1 Hutchinson, scoring the game-winner against No. 19 Johnson County. Sheehy scored her fourth and fifth hat tricks of the season in road games against Hesston College and Pratt. Sheehy added a pair of assists and totaled eight points. For the season, Sheehy has 21 goals, 13 assists and 55 points.

Facing her toughest test of the season against No. 19 Johnson County, sophomore keeper Eunice Figueroa came up big with three huge saves to preserve No. 1 Hutchinson�s 3-2 victory over No. 19 Johnson County on Saturday at home. For the week, Figueroa was 3-0 with seven total saves. She tied a career high with five saves against Johnson County.

Mauricio Campos recorded another solid week helping the Cougars to two road conference victories.  Campos� lone surrender of goal came against Coffeyville in which a defensive breakdown helped allow a one-on-one situation.
