Dartez Hamlin, Barton, finished 1^st overall in the 200 meter dash at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Collegiate Invitational in Albuquerque, New Mexico. His winning time was 21.32 and is the fastest in the NJCAA.

Dodley Thermitus, Coffeyville, finished 1^st overall in the Triple Jump at the UCO Invitational in Oklahoma. His jump of 49-8.5 is the #1 ranked Triple Jump in the NJCAA.
