Butler's Kamohelo Ramatsebe Named NJCAA Men's D1 Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week
CHARLOTTE, NC. – After picking up a win in the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the KT Woodman Classic with the fifth-fastest time in the NJCAA this season to earn Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week honors, Butler Community College freshman Kamohelo Ramatsebe has been named NJCAA Men's D1 Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week accolades to become the second KJCCC men's outdoor track athlete this season to earn national honors.

Ramatsebe bested a 39-runner field in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Wichita State University KT Woodman Classic to win the event with a time of 9:06.67. The time is the fifth-fastest in the NJCAA this season as the freshman bested a field that included runners from NCAA Division 1, 2, NAIA, and NJCAA institutions.
