NJCAA Division 1 Softball Week 6 Poll | NJCAA Division 2 Softball Week 6 Poll
CHARLOTTE, NC – The sixth set of NJCAA Softball Division 1 and Division 2 regular season top 25 polls have been released with five Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference schools once again featured in the rankings for a third straight week.
The five teams from the KJCCC that are ranked or receiving votes this week were also featured in the week five polls as teams begin to separate themselves with two full months of softball action complete and just one month left in the 2025 regular season. Two of the five ranked teams this week from the KJCCC are in the latest Division 1 top 25 poll, while the remaining three teams are in the Division 2 poll.
In the Division 1 poll, Butler Community College made a one-spot improvement after going 6-0 last week with sweeps over Labette, Pratt, and Fort Hays Tech Northwest as the Grizzlies entered the week with a 21-5 overall record. Current KJCCC Division 1 softball leader Hutchinson is receiving votes for a third straight week following a 4-0 week last week that featured doubleheader sweeps over Barton and Pratt to run their win streak to 14 straight games.
Improvement in the Division 2 top 25 poll for two of the three ranked KJCCC teams this week finds Johnson County still the highest-ranked team from the league with the number 17 ranking following a 4-0 start to conference play last week with doubleheader sweeps of Labette and Cloud County. Also off to a 4-0 start in KJCCC play is Neosho County as the Panthers made a two-spot improvement up to number 18 in this week’s poll while Kansas City Kansas goes from receiving votes into the rankings by holding the number 23 spot in this week’s poll after going a perfect 8-0 last week.
