Raymond Putnam has been named Head Cross Country and Track and Field Coach at Garden City Community College. Putnam is from Lewiston Maine and served a three year stint at St. Joseph's College in Standish Maine. St. Joseph's is a NCAA Division III School.

Prior to Garden City Putnam served as Head Cross Country and Track and Field at Salem International University in Salem West Virginia. Putnam has a long history of success from the junior high level to the collegiate level. He has numerous Coach of the year honors in both the High School and Collegiate Level and Championships in Cross Country and Track and Field.
