The KJCCC Week 8 Women's Basketball Player of the Week award goes to Butler's Ashley Gibson who propelled the Lady Grizzlies to a conference opening win over Garden City Saturday.  

Ashley Gibson led the Butler women to their 19^th consecutive conference victory, scoring 20 points with six rebounds in the home win over Garden City. She made 10 of 13 free throws and also had one assist and one steal.
