KJCCC Women's Basetball Players of the Week, Week 1, 2015-16

Hutchinson's freshman point guard made quite an impact in her debut weekend with the Blue Dragons. Inja Butina averaged 20.0 point, 7.0 assists, 5.5 rebounds and 3.5 steals per game in wins over North Central Missouri and the Tabor JV. In her first game as a Blue Dragon, Butina scored 24 points and had nine assists, which tied for the sixth most in single-game HCC history. Against Tabor on Saturday, she scored 16 points and had five assists.

Erin Anderson, Kansas City KS, shot the ball well in the two opening games for the Blue Devils. Anderson averaged 19 points per game over the span, hitting for 65 percent from the field.  Anderson also hit on 60 percent of the three-point field goals she attempted.  She also averaged 8 rebounds and 5 steals for the week.
