KJCCC Div. I West Women's Basketball Post-Season Honors Announced
Complete list of the 2020-21 Awards Selections
Seward lands Most Valuable Player, Freshman of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year after the season and Barton head coach Alan Clark wins Jayhawk West Coach of the Year with three first team All-KJCCC players.
Coach of the Year:
Alan Clark was selected as the KJCCC West Coach of the Year after leading the Cougars to a second place KJCCC West finish and a 20-6 overall record. Clark got the Cougars back to the Region VI Championship game for the second consecutive year but fell in the finals.
Most Vaulable Player:
Sierra Morrow led the Saints to a 17-6 overall record. Morrow averaged 18.1 points per game and seven rebounds per game. Morrow led the KJCCC in blocks with 80 averaging more than three blocks per game. She was second in points scored with 395 on the season.
Freshman of the Year & Defensive Player of the Year:
Miyah Dubose helped the Saints to a second place finish in the KJCCC West this season. Dubose led the KJCCC in steals with 69 in conference games. She averaged 5.8 points and 4.2 rebounds per game with 3.5 assists.
