KJCCC D-I Women's Basketball Player of the Week - Week 4
In just 50 minutes of court time last week, MeKayla Furman, sophomore guard from Oklahoma City, OK, had her best offensive week averaging 25.5 points per game in the Grizzlies two victories. Furman scored 19 points on the road Wednesday night on 9-11 shooting and followed that up with a career high 32-point performance on Saturday. Furman shot an eyepopping 82% on the week finishing 23-28 form the floor while shooting perfect from long range 3-3 and from the charity stripe going 2-2. She also was a handful on the glass pulling down 6.5 rebounds per game while picking up five steals on the week. On the season, Furman is shooting over 60% in all three categories, FG- 61%, 3PT- 60% and FT- 65%.
