KJCCC DI Women's Basketball Player of the Week - Week 11
Freddie Wallace, the Butler Grizzlies 6'3 freshman forward from Lincoln, Nebraska, was a dominant force this past week for the Grizzlies. Wallace was dominant in the Grizzlies trio of wins this week, posting game averages of 20 points, eight rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 2.3 steals this week. Wallace's 26-point performance against NW Tech on Wednesday was her second highest scoring mark on a Jayhawk Conference opponent this season and it was her sixth time scoring 25+ points in a game this year. Wallace's 17-point, 10-rebound double-double on Saturday against Pratt was her sixth double-double of the season. Wallace is the leading scorer and rebounder for the Grizzlies this season, who have now won their eighth straight game and now sit firmly in second place in the Jayhawk Conference.
