Dodge City women's basketball capped the regular season with a thrilling comeback versus #16 Barton to earn their 21st straight win of the season. Bree Stephens filled the stat sheet on the night with 13 points along with seven rebounds, four assists, two steals, and four blocks. Her fourth block of the game was in the final minute of the contest erasing a Barton shoot that could have tied the game.
On the season Stephens is averaging 12.5 points per game on 44.8% shooting, adding 5.9 rebounds, two assists, 1.9 steals, and 1.2 blocks per game. With her four blocks in the regular season finale Stephens became the all-time leader in career blocks in school history with 84, she also moved to fifth in career steals (129), eighth in a career in made field goals (275), and ninth in career rebounds (413) in school history.
