Dodge City women's basketball opened the 2023-24 season with a 3-0 road in Texas with a pair of wins over ranked teams beating #13 South Plains to open the season, then picking up wins over Midland and #23 Odessa. Sophomore, Paris Santacaterina helped lead the Conquistadors to a hot shooting start to the season. She tallied a career high 25 points on 9-15 shooting with four rebounds, five assists, and three steals in road win over South Plains in the season opener. She followed that up with 10 points, seven rebounds, and nine assists in a route of Midland and then posted 18 points on 7-13 shooting with three rebounds and two steals in win over Odessa.
