Barton Women Take KJCCC Golf Championship

(KJCCC) April 9, 2023 -- The Barton Cougar women's golf squad won all three conference tournaments in the spring season, and claimed the KJCCC championship by winning Jayhawk Tournament No.3 at Woodland Hills in Fort Scott.
The Cougars placed three golfers on the six-person 1st team ALL-KJCCC squad, and finished one-and-a-half points ahead of conference rival Dodge City in the final 2023 season team standings.
Dodge City had one player on the first team.
Barton head golf coach Doug Kaiser has wone eight conference titles in his 15 seasons in Great Bend.
