KJCCC Kansas MTXE Women's Soccer Athletes of the Week, Week 7, 2017

Elena Garcia, Butler, picked up three wins during the week, making 20 saves on 22 shots on goal.  The Grizzlies were able to pick up a 6-1 road win at Coffeyville, a 3-1 victory vs Otero, and a 5-0 shutout win at Neosho.  Garcia now has 11 wins and four shutouts on the season.

Joana Villanova has caught fire in recent weeks for the Cloud County women's soccer team as she has scored all eight of her goals this season in the past five games, highlighted by a hat trick on the road against Pratt on Oct. 2. She finished the week with five goals and a team-best 11 points during that three-game span.
