Week 4 - Division I KJCCC Women's Soccer Athletes of the Week
Player: Kim McAlpine (Butler)
Kim McAlpine is tied for the team lead with four goals after scoring three goals this past week. McAlpine recorded a goal in the Grizzlies’ 3-0 victory over #RV Kansas City. McApline then followed up her goal vs KCK with a brace in a 5-0 victory over Butler rival, the Hutchinson Blue Dragons. McAlpine now has four goals and an assist for a total of nine points on the season.

Goalkeeper: Kyrah Klumpp (Butler)
Kyrah Klumpp was able to keep a clean sheet for her 120+ minutes in goal for the Grizzlies last week. Klumpp started and played the first 78 minutes in a 3-0 victory over #RV Kansas City, while recording two saves on both shots on goal. Klumpp then started and played the first 45 minutes in the game vs Hutchinson. The Grizzlies won the game 5-0 behind Klumpp’s two saves, including a 1v1 save midway through the first half. Klumpp is now 3-2-1 on the season, facing six teams who have been in the NJCAA National Rankings. Klumpp currently has a 0.91 GAA on the season.
