Defensive Player of the Year – Ellie MacDonald (Butler)
A first team defender last year, MacDonald continued her defensive prowess in anchoring the East's top ranked defense. The sophomore from Scotland helped her Grizzly defense stifle the opposition to just 10 goals in the 13 games played (.076 GAA) and eight shutout victories in capturing the league title at 12-1 and a 15-4-1 regular season.
Coach of the Year – Adam Hunter (Butler)
Coach Hunter led the Grizzlies to their 8th East title in 15 seasons at the helm, rolling through the conference slate with eight shutout victories and 12-1 record. The coaching honor is the 5th in Hunter's leading of the Grizzlies, completing the regular season at 15-4-1 and a No. 13 national ranking.
