Week 1 - Division I KJCCC Women's Soccer Athletes of the Week

Player: Jana Richter - KCK
Jana Richter was a big offensive presence for the Blue Devils in their 5-0 season opening shutout win over Pratt CC on Thursday. She commanded the offense downfield, scoring all five of the team’s goals in the game on six total shots. Her 10 points and five goals are currently best in the nation at the DI level.

Goalkeeper: Kyrah Klumpp - Butler
Kyrah Klumpp, sophomore goalkeeper for the No. 6 Grizzlies, was big on opening weekend helping Butler to a 2-0 record. Klumpp started the season with a shutout against No. 12-ranked Monroe CC facing eight shots on goal making 11 saves including a save on a penalty kick. Against the Reivers, although she gave up three goals, Klump registered 8 saves on their 11 shots on goal.
