NJCAA Division 1 Women's Soccer Poll | NJCAA Division 2 Women's Soccer Poll
CHARLOTTE, NC – The NJCAA has released the final NJCAA Division 1 and Division 2 Women’s Soccer rankings of the regular season, with four Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference schools holding rankings ahead of the start of postseason play next week.
Included in the four teams from the KJCCC holding rankings this week is the top-ranked team in the NJCAA Division 2 standings and another conference school holding a spot in the top 10 of the latest NJCAA Division 1 rankings, as two of the four teams hold the same ranking as last week.
Following their move up to the top-ranking last week, Johnson County remains atop the NJCAA Division 2 rankings while holding an unblemished 17-0-0 record heading into their final regular season match on Wednesday evening. JCCC is the only NJCAA Division 2 women’s soccer team that has yet to be defeated this season and has allowed just four goals across their 17 matches, with 13 matches being won by shutout. Also ranked in the final poll, Kansas City Kansas stayed put at number 12 following a 1-0 home win over Highland and scoreless tie against Neosho County last week. The Blue Devils have secured the number two seed in the upcoming NJCAA Region 6/9 playoffs, with their final regular season match coming up Wednesday at home.
The latest NJCAA Division 1 Women’s Soccer rankings equated in one spot changes for each of the two ranked KJCCC schools, with Cowley College moving up one spot to number seven while Hutchinson dropped one spot down to number 19. The Tigers clinched at least a share of the KJCCC D1 women’s soccer regular season title with wins over Garden City and Barton last week, holding a record of 9-0-4 with two matches left in the regular season. Hutchinson’s drop in the poll comes after earning a 1-0 win at Seward County, followed by a 1-1 tie with Butler.
Play for KJCCC women’s soccer is scheduled to be completed on Saturday, with the 2025 NJCAA Region 6 D1 Women’s Soccer Tournament and NJCAA Region 6/9 D2 Women’s Soccer Tournament set to begin next week. All eight KJCCC D1 women’s soccer teams will compete in a single-elimination tournament, while the top four teams in the NJCAA Region 6/9 Division 2 women’s soccer standings will play a single-elimination tournament, with the winner advancing to the Plains District Tournament Championship on November 8th at the winner of the NJCAA Region 11 Division 2 women’s soccer tournament.
