Several KJCCC Indoor Track Teams Highlight Week 1 of USTFCCCA NJCAA National Rankings
The Indoor track season is underway, and the Jayhawk Conference is already putting together strong performances all-around and several of the teams in the Conference are getting attention at the national level as the Week one NJCAA Indoor Track & Field rankings have been released by the USTFCCCA.
On the women's side of competition two KJCCC schools highlight the Top five in the national rankings. Cloud County is the highest ranked KJCCC team ranking second, while Barton is ranked fifth in the first poll. Eight other KJCCC schools are in the first Top 25 rankings of the season also with Butler at #10, Fort Scott #11, Cowley #14, Hutchinson #16, Highland #20, Coffeyville #22, Colby #23, and Garden City #24.

For the men five KJCCC teams highlight the Top 10 in the national rankings. Leading the charge is Barton at fifth, but they are followed by Butler, Cloud County, Coffeyvillle, and Northwest Kansas Tech who rank sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth, respectively. Four more KJCCC schools join in the national rankings as Cowley comes in at #12, Fort Scott #14, Colby #20, and Highland #25.
