CHARLOTTE, NC. – For the second-straight week, a new school record set by a Cloud County Community College women’s track and field athlete has led to NJCAA Division 1 Women’s Track and Field Athlete of the Week honors as T-Bird freshman Maimuna Jallow has been named NJCAA National Athlete of the Week.

Jallow set the Cloud County outdoor track and field record and the Friends University Spring Invitational meet record in the 100-meter dash by running a time of 11.53 seconds. The time won the event and qualified Jallow for the NJCAA Division 1 Outdoor Track and Field Championships with the sixth-fastest time in the NJCAA this season.
